Answer: If it’s a natural lake, in theory the answer is yes, but they are a lot of lakes that have their water flow controlled by pipes – so only use a lake that you know is 100% natural (lake Erie, Chagrin River…)
Question: Can I use a plug-in hot pot (kumkum) to kasher my sink? It’s kept together with my chometz kelim but never used with chometz.
Answer: Even if it was 100% chometz, as long as you first properly clean it and let it sit cold for 24 hours, one may use it
